Eyebrows on fleek

Let me just start off by saying how much I hate the phrase 'on fleek' but it would work well for the title. Secondly, I don't understand how my skin tone could've changed so much from one day to the next so I'm going to blame the lighting. I feel like I'm ruining some kind of illusion by showing my natural eyebrows (which are very blonde even though I'm a natural brunette) but atleast you can now see why my eyebrows are the most crucial part of my makeup. I always use eyebrow pencil (like in the first photo) and I've never thought to change it but seeing as so many beauty bloggers shun pencil and champion filling them in with eyeshadow or gel instead, I thought I'd give it a try. I finally got to use my angled brow brush out of my real techniques set and I used the shade Espresso from my lorac 2 palette to fill them in. I then finished them off with a rimmel brow mascara to help the eyeshadow stay in place. I loved the more natural looking and evenly-matched finish that I got (because let's face it we all have one favourite eyebrow and then one that isn't quite exactly the same), but it took much more time and effort. So on a daily basis I think I'll stick to the eyebrow pencil to save myself an extra 10 minutes that I can spend in bed,

If you were wondering  how I achieved the makeup look in the second eye photo, I used my new Lorac mega pro palette. I started with a mix of Vanilla and Cashmere in the inner corners and round my tear duct and then added Sienna across the rest of my eyelid. I then ran Mulberry through my crease and used an angled brush to create a winged liner look with Maroon, which I also added along my lower lashline.
