Day to night: killing it in khaki
I love love love doing day to night blogposts, especially when there's a running theme or colour (my OCD just can't resist); the colour of choice on thursday was khaki. In the day, that was in the form of my latest favourite coat (missguided) which is a gorgeous light duster fabric which is so perfect for this time of year. I kept the rest of my outfit pretty neutral in camel trousers from missguided (emphasis on the word trousers; anyone who thinks camel leggings are acceptable should be fined and banned from being seen in public in daylight hours) and black crop top with cut-out sections, which you can't actually see very well because my hairs covering them. I added these beautiful new look shoes because I'm obsessed with lace-up shoes right now and these strappy pair look pretty similiar and are a great alternative until I can afford to buy some actual lace-ups. Although don't be fooled by their pretty appearance - they are the devil in shoe form. Pointed toe shoes are ridiculously painful; whoever said 'beauty is pain' could not have been more right.
Keeping to the khaki theme, I wore these printed shorts (river island) when I changed into my 'night' outfit. Personally I think that river island make the nicest skirts and shorts and these are a pair of my faves. I wore them with my new top that I featured in my Top fashion blogger post a few days ago, which was also from river island and is made of the nicest fabric ever. I added my trusty black boots and black bag and created a khaki smokey eye and then finished with Taupe lipstick. And yes we did drink a bottle of wine on the bus on the way to town, no judging.
