Wanna fool around?

I know I sound like a really old person but where does the time go?! Seriously, it feels like New Years was about a month ago and yet somehow it's already April? Which leads me on to my next point - Happy April fools day!(do people say that? Is that a thing?). I didn't actually manage to trick anyone, mainly because I didn't really try but the spirit is still there. I'm like an April fools cheerleader. Although my outfit suggests that I got confused or fell behind by a fortnight because the overload of green looks more suited to St. Patrick's day. Now I've worn this coat (very.co.uk) again after a few drab winter months, I have a feeling I won't be able to take it off. It's the perfect fit and cut, the perfect length and such a bright colour that as you walk down the street, you stand out from everyone to the point where you feel like the main character in a movie where all the focus is on you. Also, there would be a really good song playing as I walked and my hair bounced on my shoulders. It's very much a coat you build your outfit around though, as oppose to one you can throw on over anything. It's a statement coat, a commitment coat. For instance, I wouldn't have worn today's outfit unless I was wearing the coat with it. This bold clashing outfit was a challenge for even me (the clashing queen) but it works with the bright green. This skirt was from river island and has splashes of lime green on the floral and checked pattern so it matches perfectly; it is way too short from being shrunk in the wash most likely, so it's a good job I was wearing black tights and a long coat with it. I added this primark top that I haven't worn in a while, which is just the comfiest jersey fabric ever and works really well tucked into things because it's fitted so it doesn't go baggy if it comes a little untucked. It also has a cute little peter pan collar. I added my black new look chunky shoes (I need a new favourite pair because I'm getting bored of writing that) and Michael Kors watch and then finished with a bright pink colour pop lip to complement the green. For that I used my YSL Rouge volupte shine in shade 13 which has a beautiful glossy finish and holds the colour even after the shine has gone. Even if it wasn't a good quality lipstick, I'd still recommend buying it simply because the packaging is so pretty, I also feel like the sunglasses need to be explained. When I left my house it was really bright and sunny and I thought we were in for a nice day. I hadn't even made it to bus stop and it started pouring with rain in typical British fashion. I know we talk about "april showers" but did it really have to on the first day of the month? And we didn't even get a rainbow!
