March favourites

Considering this is my 15th opportunity to do a monthly favourites post, I thought I'd finally write one. I've never done one before because I don't bother much with skincare, I don't wear foundation or any other face makeup (apart from contour powder on nights out) and I stick to the same products rather than trying new ones each month (hence why I'm much more of a fashion and lifestyle blogger than a beauty one) but a miracle has happened and I actually have quite a few new bits that I've been loving through March.

1. 'How to be Parisian' by Sophie Mas, Audrey Diwan, Caroline De Maigret and Anne Berest. This book was from urban outfitters and oh my god it's almost as if I wrote it myself. As it says on the book, it's about love, style and bad habits. It's a really nice book that you can just dip into and it includes things like what you won't find in a parisian closet, what kind of man a parisian wants and snobbisms that parisians can't help but do. If you ever read my blog and think you're anything like me; heel-wearing, casual-hating and opinionated on everything then it's a must-read!

2. Naked 3 palette by Urban Decay. Well kind of. This is a dupe version and only cost me £4 compared to £37 for the genuine one! But the shades are almost identical and really highly pigmented and I love all the pink shades that you don't get with the Naked, Naked 2, Lorac or Lorac 2 palettes.

3. Pink bouquet fragrance by Moschino. Although I don't like Moschino clothes (if you've seen them then you'll know why; soooo not my style), I do love this perfume of theirs. Contrary to what the name suggests, it's not actually a floral scent, it's more of a crisp fruity one and it lasts literally all day.

4. Lime crime velvetine liquid lipstick in shade Cashmere. I love love love this colour and I'd been trying to get my hands on one for ages (it's sold out everywhere) when I finally got myself one this month. It's a really unique colour and not like any other lipstick I've got; it's a nude-grey colour with a lilac undertone and the liquid-to-matte finish means it lasts forever.

5. White pointed court heels from Primark. These are the most beautiful and most uncomfortable shoes I've ever owned. Although they're impossible to walk in, they look so pretty and I think they'll be perfect for spring. They were only £10 too so I can hardly moan about the lack of foot support!

March was a pretty good month and seeing as I kicked off April by finally booking my summer holiday to Zante, it looks like this month is shaping up quite nicely too.
