I got that red lip classic thing that you like

Whether you love them or hate them the clashing prints are here to stay because je l'adore. I wear them so often as well that I'm considering adding it to my resume as a skill. The art of clashing prints has to be very deliberate. Checks with dogtooth or stripes with florals is a clash done as a fashion statement. A black jacket worn with brown shoes and purple bag and blue jeans and coral top (yes I did recently see someone wearing this) is a clash showing they can't put outfits together. I loved todays clash; snakeprint and dogtooth, two of my faves. I wasn't actually planning a clashing outfit, but once I'd put it together and decided I didn't want to wear one of my fur coats, my options were more limited because it's still too cold for a lot of my Spring coats. I went with my dogtooth one in the end (missguided) and although both prints are very bold and statement-y, they work well together because they're both monochrome. The snake print shirt was also from missguided and I love the massive boyfriend fit, although it does make it difficult to wear with some things because it doesn't always look right when it's tucked in, so I made life easier for myself by wearing it with trousers. I absolutely love these trousers (H&M) because I think the colour is just to die for. I can't explain it either it's like a neutral mushroom colour with almost a purple tint to it, I just love it (even if it is hard to match stuff to). Because of the loose fit round the ankles though, they don't look right with boots or closed shoes, it has to be with more of an open style and they definitely have to be heeled! I went with these caged black sandals (new look) because it's warm enough for me to wear them again, which makes me so happy because they're probably my favourite pair. Don't get too over excited, I said warm enough for me to wear them, not warm. We're still about 3 layers of clothing away from warm but I'm optimistic that Spring is nearly here. I finished my outfit with a statement red lip for which I used L'Oreal color riche in shade 461 and then my Marc Jacobs watch and flower stud earrings.
