Zip me up

So clearly I didn't last very long with dressing-sensibly-for-the-cold-weather; I'm back to skirts and fur coats. Although I might've failed on the cold weather dressing, I did a good job of cold colour dressing. I really wanted to wear my new grey zip skirt (missguided) which I've previously only worn in a blogpost and so I matched it to the grey and icy blue pattern of this new look top. It was also a good match because the top ended where the skirt began so I didn't have to worry about any skin exposed to the freezing weather. I didn't make a very sensible decision coat-wise though (I should've just named this blogpost 'jenni is very non-sensible when it comes to cold weather') - although this coat is one of my fur ones and therefore should be warm, it has cropped sleeves. I love the way the cropped sleeves look especially since they make your wrists look slender, but it does make you so much colder. Seeing as I've been to Lapland and Iceland you'd think I'd be fully equipped for cold English weather but no apparently not. Anyway, I can deal with the cold - rather that than to leave the house in some tacky woolly outfit and Ugg boots (don't even get me started). This one is the softest of my fur coats though so it is really nice to wear and it is a gorgeous colour; it was £59 from very.co.uk. I finished my outfit with black chunky shoes (new look £24.99) and Marc Jacobs watch.
