These boots are made for walking
The good thing about having an item of clothing that you love is that when they inspire blogpost titles and you decide not to use them, you already have one waiting for next time you wear them. As you probably know by now, I love a good clashing print and this one was probably my most risqué yet. I've done florals and bigger florals, I've done dogtooth and bigger dogtooth and I've done monochrome checks and monochrome dogtooth. But this mix of camel stripes and monochrome dogtooth is the most clashing pair that I've ever dared to wear and even if you don't all like it, I loved the combination. This dogtooth coat (missguided £49.99) is my favourite at the minute. As we start to come out of winter, I don't feel like wearing fur quite as much but the long length of this means it's still warm. I wouldn't exactly say that Spring is on it's way yet afterall, it's more like at the stage where it texts to say it's on the way but really it's still at home doing its hair (we get one day of beautiful sunshine then a week of rain and no daylight). I clashed it with this striped skirt (also missguided) and I love the black, white and camel mix. It's also the perfect length for wearing with my thigh high boots (new look) because it leaves that little gap which I think looks good. I added a little preppy-ness with my favourite shirt-and-jumper combination; a white shirt layered under my black 'j'adore' jumper (missguided again, infact most of my outfit was missguided). I finished off my outfit with my Marc Jacobs watch and gold hoop earrings.
