OOTD: back to blighty
I can't say I'm thrilled to be back in Nottingham (especially in the rain) and I think it's fair to say that I've got a classic case of holiday blues (well, mini-city-break blues maybe). However, I was glad to have my full range of clothes to choose from again so today was a good outfit day. I started by picking out this khaki leather skater skirt (missguided) which I just love all the little pleats on. And you know I can't resist doing this pose whenever I wear a skater skirt. I matched it with this abstract print shirt (topshop) which seems to go with everything because it's got so many colours in it. One of those many colours being berry so I did consider wearing my burgundy fur coat to finish the outfit. But since I've been wearing that coat for the past 5 days and now finally have my whole coat rail available to me again, I thought I'd go with something different. I went with my camel coat instead (primark) because the weather actually doesn't seem as cold anymore and then added a splash of berry with this scarf (also primark) which I wore loose around my neck. I finished with black chunky shoes (new look) and my Michael Kors watch. Despite my not-being-happy-about-being-back-in-the-country, I did have a really good first day back at work. It didn't start great because I had to get there in the pouring rain, which means I had a bad hair day from about half 9 this morning. But it quickly picked up and I finished the day eating cake off of a copy of Vogue magazine because we had a birthday in the office and we had no plates because we only moved in a few weeks ago. A day in the life of a fashion intern; I know you're jealous.
