Couture not war

Clearly I subconsciously matched my outfit to the weather today; 50 shades of grey. Mondays little burst of sunshine was nowhere to be seen and neither was the daylight in fact - it was basically miserable all day. And I felt very weird getting ready in todays clothes after I'd been photographing valentines outfits bursting with pink and red and high heels at 9 in the morning before getting ready for work. Yes I have a very busy schedule so I've resorted to blogging in the early hours - you'll get to see the photos in Fridays blogpost. Back to today though and I built my outfit around this top which I absolutely love although I actually don't think it's been featured in a blogpost before (shock horror). It was from primark for only like £5 (!!!) and it says 'couture not war' in velvety letters which I think is such a cute saying. It has a sheer fabric front with grey daisy print and loose sleeves - normally I'd try and inject some colour but I stuck with the greyscale today and wore it tucked into my fur topshop skirt with my grey faux fur coat (new look £64.99) and black chunky new look heels (£24.99). I did consider a berry lipstick but Lauren currently has my Kate Moss one along with about half my wardrobe (I don't remember the last time all my possessions were at my own house, the second she gives stuff back she borrows something else which I'm sure will be the case tomorrow night) so I stuck with Twig by MAC because that's what I was already wearing from my other blog photos.
