The devil wears pointed

I absolutely love wearing these pointed boots because I feel like some kind of sassy queen when I do (not that I don't feel like that all the time, but when I wear these especially). I am so obsessed with pointed toe boots right now - it's just a shame that they're the most painful of all! They squash your toes into the ends so much that you feel like you might need surgery once you take them off. But in the words of Blair Waldorf - 'fashion knows not of comfort' - she was definitely right on that one! Anyway, who cares if they're comfy when they're this pretty! The pointed toe is really in right now and the multi strap design is really classy with a fierce edge to it. The heel is the perfect height and these were only £27.99 from new look! The only downside, besides the comfort issue, is the random cut-out at the back which seems to serve no purpose apart from making the shoes not fit as well. Anyway, I pretty much built my outfit around my shoes; I went with light grey jeans (topshop £36) instead of black ones even though they're less flattering because I wanted a good contrast with the shoes to make them stand out (no pun intended). I added this topshop shirt because I felt the boots, which are quite fierce, wouldn't work with anything too girly or floaty, so this graphic print fitted the bill well. I also like the muted colours, lilac and dark berry, because they're really nice for this time of year. I finished with my berry faux fur coat (£55 fashion union) which matched the berry parts of the shirt and then my Marc Jacobs watch.
