Planning my payday purchases

It's been a while since I've done a wishlist blogpost and seeing as my bank account is still recovering from Christmas and I'm getting withdrawal symptoms from online shopping, you can imagine that my wishlist is bursting at the seams. As I've always said, there seems to be some kind of rotation with high street stores as to which one is at its peak and right now river island seems to be the one on top of its game. They have some amazing transitional pieces and they're just starting to stock their bikinis - river island are definitely my favourite for swimwear! I'm going from left-to-right, and top-to-bottom although the order will be a bit mixed because of the extra row with the strappy sandals in it but you should be able to work it out from the names...

1. Grey leather snake print ankle boots £55
There's definitely a snake print/croc print theme in this blogpost as you'll find out; river island heeled boots are my faves because the heels are nice and high which I really like (although some of you may not). I also like that these are grey because they make a nice change to a classic black boot - although they are quite expensive so maybe wait until payday to treat yourself!

2. Black monochrome mesh A-line dress £40
I love all things mesh - mesh tops, mesh panels, mesh inserts - all of it! I especially like the asymmetry of this dress and it's the perfect piece to take you from day to night.

3. Grey tres en vogue knitted jumper £30
Even though it's time to start planning our spring wardrobes, it's still freezing outside so a bit of knitwear is essential! I don't often do casual slogan jumpers but if it's vogue related then I can make an exception - it makes me feel connected to my inner Carrie Bradshaw.

4. Black pony leather print slipper shoes £45
I don't do flats but I think I should actually try to - and what better place to start than with these gorgeous monochrome slippers. Plus pony skin is gorgeous and although they are expensive for a pair of flats, they're a timeless pair.

5. Black snake print strappy high heel sandals £60
Okay so I messed up my order with this inserted pair of gorgeous (yet highly expensive) sandals but I think we can both agree they're worth aggravating my OCD for. They're also the second instalment of my snake/croc print obsession.

6. Grey snake print oversized top £40
Although it says it's a top, it's definitely a shift dress - and in a gorgeous thick fabric so it's perfect for winter. I also love the panelled top and trim finish.

7. Cream check print cigarette pants £40
In a true feminist move, I'd have to say that these were my favourite on the list. Classic and sophisticated, these trousers are perfect for spring and would look amazing with a pair of black strappy sandals.

8. Brown leather-look mock croc mini skirt £30
This is the last snake/croc print piece I promise! River island leather style skirts are my favourite although I'm yet to own a printed one - I love the neutral colour of this one and it will just go with everything!

9. Blue geometric print loose fit t-shirt £30
This top is a really nice length and I love the print. I also think that cobalt blue is a great statement offset colour and I just so happen to have a coat that colour that would match perfectly (well I have so many; it's very rare that I don't own a coat to match something).

10. White woven boucle short skirt £30
I am definitely going to buy this skirt for any ladies-who-lunch type occasions - it looks like it's been plucked directly from the upper east side (which is where I believe I belong). The colour also makes it ideal for spring, aswell as meaning it will go with everything.

11. White window pane print split back shirt £38
So you may not be able to see it in the photo but the name kindof explains it for you; I love that this shirt has a split back because it adds a little something extra. I love the art deco style print and the boyfriend fit; I think it will look gorgeous worn with black jeans and heeled boots.
