New Years Eve? I've got you covered...

I'm a mega organised person so I got my new years eve dress in the black Friday sales back in November, but for those less organised-to-an-anal-level people out there, I've created a guide to get your last minute outfit whatever it is you've got planned for December 31st. I haven't featured my own dress because I featured it in a party wear post and I'll be featuring it in my new years eve post that will be my first blogpost of 2015 (!!!) so I didn't want to bore you with it.

Going to a house party?

Whether you're hosting or attending, you need the perfect outfit so, as with all the different sections, I've put together 3 different ones for you (because women need options). For a party you don't want to be overly sparkly and you don't want to make your shoes your statement because the chances are you'll ditch them at some point in the night (probably very early on). I didn't actually plan to but I've kind of gone with a sports luxe feel - the good thing abut house parties is you can also afford to wear something a little skimpier because you'll be indoors and don't have to worry about walking from bar to bar or anything.

Outfit #1; black mesh zip back cropped bralet £22 from river island; pink nude smart shorts £30 from river island; ashford ankle boot £45 from miss selfridge.

Outfit #2; black graphic print bodycon dress £32 from river island; black mesh trim ankle strap block heels £22.99 from new look.

Outfit #3; metallic textured bralet black £9.99 from missguided; metallic textured A-line mini skirt black £15.99 from missguided; black chunky cut out sling back block heels £14 from new look.

Going to your local pub?

If you're going to your local pub (or even a pub further away it doesn't really make a difference) then it's best to wear something a little longer because chances are you're walking there (and we're in the depths of winter so hypothermia is a real possibility). It's also good to wear something not too over dressy because you can guarantee that there will be a few older couples in there who have made no noticeable effort and seem to be oblivious that it's even NYE. You can afford to wear some truly beautiful (and most likely very painful) shoes though because there are loads of seats and bar stools if your feet start to ache and you don't need to worry about looking weird sitting down like you would in a club.

Outfit #1; feather trim strappy jumpsuit black £34.99 from missguided; ted baker annabilla blue suede embellished heeled shoes £91 from asos (I love these because they look like THE Manolo Blahniks famed for being 'the carrie shoes' and this pair were featured in inthefrow's latest GRWM video); blue leather metal trim clutch £29.99 from new look.

Outfit #2; limited edition embellished shell top £45 from topshop; black leather-look skinny trousers £40 from river island; rizo feather strap sandals £35 from topshop.

Outfit #3; corrina crepe crop top oxblood £14.99 from missguided; alica crepe midi skirt oxblood £17.99 from missguided; tres chic clutch bag £16 from miss selfridge; wide fit black lattice open toe heels £11 from new look.

Going into town for a big night out?

This is the one where you can really go all out! Grab anything covered in sequins, lace or feathers and put on your favourite shoes (as I'll be doing because I'll be heading into town on Wednesday night). The more glamorous the better and there really is no such thing as too much embellishment. Seeing as it's the biggest night out of the year aswell, you surely won't mind spend a bit more than normal? I've included 2 truly beautiful dresses that are quite pricey (and similar style/quality/price to mine) but just in case you've blown your Christmas money in the boxing day sales (something that I didn't go anywhere physically near by the way because I'm not a masochist but I did do a bit of online spending - I'll show you the stuff when it gets delivered) or are trying to budget for all the over priced drinks and taxi's you'll be getting on the night, I have included a cheaper outfit too. Or if you do want the best of both worlds (the sparkle without the big price tag) then you can see lots more dresses in my partywear post

Outfit #1; Lucinda eyelash lace long sleeve crop top black £14.99 from missguided; rosar black lace overlay midi skirt nude £14.99 from missguided; blue feather bag £30 from miss selfridge; grey pointed metal heel court shoes (supposedly grey but they look suspiciously blue to me) £19.99 from new look.

Outfit #2; petites nude sequin bodycon dress £99 from miss selfridge; glam nude gold heels £39 from miss selfridge.

Outfit #3; online exclusive lace hem sequin Bardot dress £125 from topshop (it might sound expensive but it is in the sale for 50% off so it's actually  a £250 dress - a bargain if you ask me); black studded double t-bar strap pointed heels £10 from new look (these are my absolute favourites because they are actually a really good pair of valentino rock stud dupes and as you'll know if you've ever read my blog before, valentino is my most favourite designer ever and anything that resembles valentino is sure to hold a place in my heart).
