Insblairation 2.0

Out of all my weird and wonderful blog titles I think this one was my favourite so when I copied my ultimate style icon again I couldn't resist recycling the title. I think I might've mentioned before that I've been wanting a dogtooth coat for absolutely ages and so on Black Friday I took advantage of the discount and finally bought one from missguided that was meant to be £49.99 but obviously I got 20% off that. I love the fact that it's really long and warm and the collarless style is really chic. It is quite a hard coat to style because obviously so many things clash with dogtooth so I went with block colours and mixed up the textures to avoid it being boring. I went with burgundy scalloped shorts (new look) and a cropped white fluffy jumper (missguided) and it wasn't until the end of the day that I realised I'd accidentally styled myself like a Santa hat. Well, it's all about getting into the festive spirit I suppose and seeing as my shopping and wrapping is already done, I need some other way to keep the Christmas vibes going for another 3 weeks (I can't believe it's only 3 weeks away where has this year gone seriously?!). I added my winter must-have shoes which were £24.99 from new look, and silver jewellery; feather pendant earrings, silver watch and Pandora ring, then I finished with No7 lipstick in Soft earth. All I need now is a Chuck Bass on my arm to complete the look and let's face it, what girl wouldn't want that?
