Tartan tartan dolly parton
Doesn't sound like one of my blog titles? That's because it's not - you can give credit for this one to my friend Joe (maltby, I had to include the last name to avoid confusion seeing as I know more than one). He's always asking for me to feature him in the blog and apparently being included in my Magaluf post wasn't good enough, so I figured letting him choose one of my titles was a compromise (happy now joe?). Anyway, like lots of other bloggers, I am completely in love with this fluffy H&M number! I love the colour and I got it in a size small to be deliberately over sized - although I didn't think about the thickness of the fur because it was really uncomfortable to try and cram a coat over the top! I managed it in the end though and I went with my camel primark coat (£23) because it's a nice neutral one for when your not quite sure what colour coat goes best. I paired the top with the latest in a long line of river island shorts - these forest green and nude tartan print ones (£30) fit like a dream and I love the black waistband because I think it just sets them off (and it's slimming too). Like I seem to almost every day, I wore black tights and my favourite black new look shoes which I recently realised are actually odd! Let's play spot the difference between the two shoes... The lace holes on one shoe have metal rings and the other shoe doesn't - very weird but I didn't notice for ages and I'm really observant so hopefully no one else noticed and thought I'd just put on the wrong shoe. Although, this does bring me one step (pardon the pun) closer to being the next Blair Waldorf - she was a fashion intern and wore two different shoes! Although I'm not entirely sure a pair of new look shoes with a manufacturing fault is exactly the same as wearing a Vivier on one foot and a Manolo on the other, what do you think?
