OOTD: olive and berry

What are the most clichéd colours for autumn? Khaki and burgundy, yes. So rather than being a fashion stereotype, I am instead wearing olive and berry tones (they're very different). On a serious note though, I love this river island shirt! It's a gorgeous satin fabric and I think this shirt sleeve length is really flattering - I also love the olive colour with berry, bright pink and pastel pink floral pattern. It would've been decent enough anyway at £30 but I managed to get myself 25% off! It was a discount code that Grazia magazine were offering but I don't read it so I would've never known about it if river island hadn't been so kind as to email me the code (I don't totally understand why they did, I just know I'm happy about it). I also ordered a slogan tee which I'm sure you'll see in a future blogpost, so I saved a total of £13.50! Not bad to say I didn't even buy the magazine. Anyway, I matched my gorgeous berry shoe-boots (also river island, £40) to the berry in the top and paired them with a pair of black jeans - all the inventors in the world and they still haven't invented a pair of black jeans that don't fade in the wash?! Also, I think my camera must have some kind of burgundy filter on it that makes berry tones look black because these boots are actually a really rich warm colour but they just don't seem to show up properly on photos. I don't have a burgundy coat (yet, don't worry it's on my to-buy list) so I went with my grey fur one that goes with everything - it was £64.99 from new look so it's a little expensive but I've already worn it loads and its definitely a must-have for winter! I finished the look with my Michael Kors watch, pink flower stud earrings and berry lips (I used Kate Moss for Rimmel in 107).
