OOTD: monopastel madness
So I bet that you thought you'd seen the back of the monopastel back in the spring but it turns out that it's back! I have literally been living in my thigh-high boots this week because I think they're the perfect alternative to black tights because they keep you warm but look much nicer. You can get them pretty much anywhere right now because everyone wants a pair but I actually got this pair a year ago from new look for the ridiculously cheap price of £39.99! Also they're the kindof thing that doesn't go out of fashion so it's a worthy investment. To stick to my colour palette as well as my title, I paired my boots with this black checked dress I just got from new look for £17.99. It's a really nice middle ground between a shift dress and a bodycon so it's the perfect fitting daytime dress. I added the 'pastel' part with this powder blue collarless coat (boohoo, £40) which was the perfect length to pair with this dress, and a black tote bag (£24.99 from new look) which I'm so glad I finally bought because I needed a bag big enough to fit my laptop in and I was getting sick of matching all my outfits to my burgundy one so I'm happy I've got a black one now! I completed my outfit with my Michael Kors watch and berry lipstick by Kate Moss for Rimmel in 107 because I thought the outfit needed a contrasting colour pop to finish it off.
