A double dose of fluff
First of all I bet you're wondering where I've been (well you're probably not but I'm going to tell you anyway) - basically my laptop decided it didn't want to work for a week which royally screwed up my blogging and my online shopping habit (don't worry, I plan to make up for it on both counts). Luckily my brother is a total computer genius and he fixed it for me! We're a pretty good team actually - he helps me with anything electrical and in return I take him clothes shopping every now and again to keep him on the fashion straight and narrow (he'd be hopeless without a nudge in the right direction). But even though I haven't been able to post anything, I've still taken photos so don't worry. Panic over guys! Anyway, I don't know about you but I had a really nice weekend - I got horrifically drunk on Thursday, which was great on the night but then not so much when I couldn't even get out my bed on Friday. When I recovered, I went out on Saturday for one of my oldest friends Mitch's birthday (it's bugging me that that doesn't read properly but I can't work out how to make it right) and caught up with everyone, then on the surprisingly-not-hungover-sunday, I went to see the new hunger games film which was amazing! I didn't read the first 2 but I read the third book and I was pretty sure I knew where they'd separate it into the two films and I was only off by one scene! Personally I thought it would've been a better cliff hanger if they'd have left it where I thought - I won't include any spoilers but anyone else whose read the book and seen the film will know exactly what I mean. After the film, we got rid of our hunger (games) by going for a meal at Bella Italia which is one of my favourite restaurants because their calamari starter is the best out there and believe me I've tried it in a lot of different places. Do you like what I did there? You should know by now I can't resist a play on words! Seeing as it seems to get frostier and frostier every day, I made sure I wouldn't be cold by wearing double fur (I had a bit of a care bear thing going on). This blue fur coat is one of my very favourites - the dusky colour is a dream and it's more suited to winter than a pastel. Even though it's not practical, I do love the slightly-too-short sleeves because they show off your watch nicely! (I wore my Michael Kors) The coat was £59 so kindof expensive but it's so soft and gorgeous and I couldn't resist it. I kept to the cool colours by layering this white and blue printed crop under it - it was only about £15 and I love the fabric. I kept to all black everything on the bottom half - black tights because let's face it, it's way too cold to go bare-legged now until probably about March, black fur skirt which is a Topshop buy from last winter and I just love the fit and length of it and black chunky platform shoes which are quickly becoming my new favourites because they're really good for elongating your legs when worn with black tights - plus they were only £24.99 from new look so you can't really find fault! Sorry this has been such a long rambly blogpost - obviously my ramblings have built up while my laptops been broke but I should be fine now and tomorrows post should be a nice normal length!
