A day in the life of a fashion intern

Don't worry I have an amazing memory so I know full well that in yesterdays post I promised a short and sweet post today. Turns out I lied - it's going to be another long post! But don't worry I've got lots of photos for you - lots of behind the scenes photos in fact. As I've mentioned before, I've got a job as a fashion marketing intern at LBW (www.littleblackwardrobe.co.uk go take a look) and it's something that I absolutely love doing and I recently found out that I was 1 of 3 to get it out of 700 that applied so that's even better! Today was even better than usual because we were out shooting our promotional party season photos which was so much fun but weirdly tiring. For the day I wrapped up warm because we were shooting outside - I love this jumper dress and it's my favourite piece of knitwear (along with my jadore jumper) that I own. I love the dusky pink colour with flecks of grey, it's really warm and a nice length and the rounded collar makes it ideal for layering over shirts - it was also only £14 from primark! I kept to my pink theme by wearing it over this pink floral blouse (river island) which I love the print of but I rarely wear it because it's a thin fabric and so it's really see-through; so it's perfect for just showing off the collar. I toughened up my pink princess vibes by adding this primark spike necklace and black chunky boots (and black tights of corse). I added my new look grey faux fur coat (£64.99) and finished the look with dusky pink lips for which I used Bourjois rouge edition in shade 31.

Hands up if you can say that as part of your job, you get to go shopping? I can! Yesterday, in preparation for todays shoot, we went out to get loads of glitter and confetti and anything else we fancied, and we ended up in the fancy dress shop. Now, hands up who can say they put on Santa hats and take photos as part of their working day? I can! Although I'm not entirely sure a beard suits me what do you think? The actual photo shoots were so much fun aswell - time obviously flies when you're throwing glitter and confetti over models heads. We even got my boss Hannah's cats involved in the photos (I think every single one of us there was a crazy cat lady at heart) and I'm actually amazed I managed to get them both looking at the camera at the same time - they are literally the naughtiest cats ever!

We also did some photo shoots round the Nottingham Christmas market which was so cute and festive because of all the lights and the Christmas songs! I think I've tricked myself into believing it's a lot closer to Christmas than it actually is because I walk by the Christmas market every day and I've already bought and wrapped £300 worth of Christmas presents - it's not even December yet Jenni I think you need help. On the plus side though, I'm a really good present buyer so anyone getting a gift from me this year should start getting excited!
