OOTD: fire and ice

Feeling like you've got deja vu? Yes, I did blog this skirt yesterday. But it's so pretty I just had to wear it today, plus its a good way of showing you different ways to style it. It was only £19.99 from new look and the warm, rich colour makes up the 'fire' part of todays title. I love this outfit because of the warm and cool colour contrasts; berry tones go really nicely with icy blue. I've been searching for this jacket for ages after seeing it featured in Reveal magazine, Cosmo magazine and even Vogue and I finally found it on very.co.uk for £59 so I had to snap it straight up! Fur coats are such a gorgeous statement and make me feel more princess-like than ever and the cropped style and slightly short sleeves on this one make it perfect for autumn. Under it I wore a white, blue and grey print top from new look which was only £19.99 and, along with the jacket, made up the 'ice' part of my title. I finished the look with strappy white heels from missguided (£24.99).

I didn't think there was enough 'fire' in my 'fire and ice' cocktail so I experimented with an autumn make-up look. Obviously I used my Naked eye palette like always; I used Half baked over the eyelid and along the bottom lash line from halfway to the inner corner and then I added Hustle around the outer corners and around the crease then along the bottom lashline from the outer corner into the halfway point. I finished with mascara and false lashes (Katy Perry for Eylure in Banging beauty) and then went with berry lips and nails. For the lips I used 107 in the matte Kate Moss collection for Rimmel and for the nails I used 620 Bewitching by Revlon. I finished with my new favourite perfume 'daisy dream' by Marc Jacobs which was a surprise present from my mum for "just being amazing" - yes, my mum is better than yours.
