OOTD: check mate
Well I've already done 'check me out' so the remaining 'check' double entendres are few and far between! These gorgeous checked trousers are what I found myself in primark the other week and they were only £12! Primark is doing really well at the minute although their sizing is getting worse and worse; I can be anything from a 6 to a 12 when in reality I'm a 10. My number one rule for primark at the minute would be to completely ignore the size on the label and just buy what fits you (always try everything on first!). I love the tailored fit though and the slightly wider bottoms, and the pattern is perfect for any occasion. They're quite smart trousers that'd be perfect for work, but I 'casual-ed' them up by teaming them with my missguided white mesh top. I think it's a really easy way to add interest to any outfit and it's really comfy and wearable. I feel a mesh blogpost coming up soon - I'm just waiting for a very special delivery before I can do it. All in good time. I wore a basic pink bralet under it, and added a statement grey and pink necklace (primark, only £5), and then matched my grey strappy heels to it (new look £19.99). To say my whole outfit was under £60, it just goes to show that you can look first class even if your whole outfit is economy - it's about taste not money (well sometimes it's about money, I wouldn't say no to an Elie Saab haute couture dress or a pair of Jimmy Choos). I finished with my silver watch, flower Pandora ring and No7 lipstick in Soft earth.
