Bur-berry love

My latest craze seems to be pieces inspired by the catwalk (my favourite being my valentino-esque butterfly playsuit) and this casual-luxe outfit fits that description nicely. This new look blouse is a copycat of the one featured in last years A/W line for Burberry and is only a fraction of the $795 price tag. I love the rich berry colour and the white heart print is really sweet and girly. Seeing as I don't have a faux-leather berry pencil skirt (yet, just assume that everything you see on here is either in my wardrobe or on my wishlist), I went with a Russian-princess-on-her-day-off kind of vibe (hence the fur). I styled the shirt with ripped oversized jeans (£40 from river island) and mini berry satchel (primark £6), and kept it girly by adding strappy heeled sandals (£24.99 from new look) and faux-fur gilet (also new look, £40). I love fur gilets right now because it's not quite cold enough for a fur coat yet but everyone needs some fluff in their life. I could happily buy a gilet in every colour (today at work I saw a woman wearing the most amazing baby pink one) but I went with a cream one because I figured it'd go with everything. I finished the look with berry lips and berry nails, and a watch of corse.
