OOTD: pink and blue

Technically this blogpost should be under the tagline OOY - outfit of yesterday. But I couldn't write it yesterday because if I left the Hawaii blogpost any longer then you all might forget I even went to America at all. Anyway, seeing as I went out in the evening I thought I should wear a few more clothes than normal so I went with jeans - pretty much my favourite pair. These white and china blue print pair were £38 from Topshop and I got them slightly shorter than normal to go with a kindof 7/8 trouser look. I've already got my eye on quite a few pairs of trousers for the autumn so I might also have to invest in a new wardrobe to put them in (or perhaps just rent an apartment and put all my clothes in it?). I think pastel pink goes perfectly with baby blue and as you might've guessed by now, it's one of my all-time favourite combinations. So I added this pink and cream-crochet-insert top from Topshop (£34) which is one of my favourite buys of the season. I kept it sophisticated by adding my new blue heels (from new look, £19.99) and my accessorize tote bag (£37). I'd been at work all day and so I had no energy to tackle my hair so I left it up in a messy bun instead (very unlike me I know), and added my feather pendant earrings to make myself look a bit more girly. I finished with my Michael Kors watch and my favourite lipstick, No7 in Classic rose.

So if you're wondering what my outfit was for, it was to go to dinner at prezzo. Yes, I have been twice in one week; I had a £20 off voucher and completely forgot to use it when I went on results day. Well it did give me the perfect excuse to go again I suppose; I had the lobster and crab tortelli and I am worried about my growing love for lobster. I can't afford an expensive taste in food aswell as in everything else (although it was amazing). Between my love of clothes, holidays and expensive meals out, I have 3 options. 1) win the lottery, 2) marry a billionaire or 3) become one myself. I guess I better get to work...
