Topshop treats
So the other day I was sent into Topshop, armed with my mums credit card, to buy jeans and only jeans. True to myself though, I came out with a bulging bag of jeans, new underwear and two new tops. It wouldn't be very ladylike to show my underwear on here and seeing as the jeans were a replacement for my black ones (which are so faded they're basically grey jeans now), I thought I'd limit this blogpost to just the new tops.
Because this post is dedicated to Topshop (what with the title and everything), I thought it only made sense to wear a pair of my many Joni Topshop jeans (£36). I went with the white ones as I thought they looked very 'hey sailor' with the white and navy striped top (in a good way). I love the flower hem and sleeves on the top and they sell it in loads of colours including white and yellow but this stripy one was my favourite by far. It fits really nicely and it's just the right amount of cropped to be a perfect daytime top. It was only £24 aswell which is quite a good price for Topshop, although the plain colour-block ones were only £22 which was kindof annoying. I added my white La Moda sandals (£24) to stick to my all-white-everything colour scheme and then added some colour with my pastel pink missguided coat which was £34.99. I finished off the look with my No7 Classic rose lipstick and my gold new look watch.
People who say they don't believe in love at first sight obviously don't go shopping often enough. The second I walked into Topshop and laid eyes on this beautiful top I knew it had to be mine! It's the most gorgeous pale pink colour and the cream crochet detail and pleated panels make it really cute and girly, and well worth the £34 I paid to be able to call it mine. Again, I wore it with my white Topshop jeans, and added these pale pink primark shoes (which matched perfectly) that I got for £12 in January (in fact they were featured in my first ever blogpost). I also added my new favourite coat which was around £35 from Choies, and my gold hoop earrings which, as always, you can't actually see in the photos. As you probably know by now, I don't like pastel lipstick so I went for a glossy effect instead, achieved by using my Revlon Colorburst in 050 Berry smoothie. Before I left the house, I finished off the outfit with the most essential accessory of them all. Which, as every British girl knows, is an umbrella!
