OOTD: Blue florals

I had to share with you all these gorgeous jeans that I'm obsessed with right now. I saw them in Topshop when I went shopping on Saturday but I didn't actually buy them, thinking I'd order them online another time. But when I went to look for them on the website they didn't seem to exist which I found really weird. So when I went for lunch on Tuesday, I went back and tried them on. I was so gutted when they didn't have a length 32, or even a 34 that I could've rolled up. I loved them so much though that I figured there was no harm in trying on a length 30. I don't normally like jeans to be short but with them being white and floral patterned I thought the cropped look worked well. The photos don't even do them justice; the print is so dreamy and perfect for summer. They were £38 so quite expensive, but I just had to have them. While I was there I also bought this cute blue crop top to match which was only £8 (they have a whole range of colours if blue's not for you). To say I have so many pastel-coloured things, I don't actually have that much blue in my wardrobe so these two new additions fit perfectly. Although I've actually got so many clothes now that my wardrobes are bursting at the seams and I had to do some DIY today to turn one of my cupboards into another wardrobe, which involved having a MASSIVE sort out of my old stuff and then taking out all the shelves and adding a rail (it wasn't how I typically spend my mornings). I teamed the outfit with my new favourite heels from New look for £39.99, and added dark pink lips and nails to set the outfit off. I used Revlon in 620 Bewitching for the nails (which is my all-time favourite nail polish) and Natural collection moisture shine in Raspberry for the lips. The lipstick was a new one for me and I was very happy with the results. I love natural collection; to say each lipstick is only like £2 the colour goes on really nicely and stays on all day, meaning they're just as good as the expensive brands. I took the photos for this blogpost while it was really sunny, but in true British style, it was chucking it down with rain by the time I left my house an hour later so I had to add a jacket. I went with my pink new look one (£39.99) to match the lips and nails, and also my burgundy tote bag, which I also forgot to include in the pictures (sorry!). I loved the outfit so much but it was really summery and so I did get some strange looks when I went out in the heavy rain wearing it. Maybe next time I should check the weather forecast before choosing the days attire.
