Ooh La La moda
I have literally no idea how it's taken me this long to discover La Moda. A favourite among other bloggers, I finally got round to googling them and seeing what all the fuss was about. Shoes upon shoes upon shoes, and all fairly cheap! I took advantage of the 10% off when signing up, and ordered myself two pairs. Then I felt bad for cheating on Missguided and had to order a pair from them too. I desperately needed new shoes anyway, as you may have noticed I feature the same ones all the time. Pictures and details as promised (excuse my sock marks)...
I'm loving all the cleated sole stuff and I really wanted some white shoes to go with all the pastels I own, seeing as black doesn't really go with them. I've got my new look white heels of corse but I wanted more of a day shoe. This pair is splashed all over instagram as a blogger favourite so I wasn't surprised to see they had sold out of most sizes, including the 6 that I needed. They did have a 7 though and they were only £24 so I thought I would risk it. And the risk definitely paid off; I love them so much and can't wait to style them into my pastel wardrobe. I can't really tell any difference between the 7 I got these in and the 6 I got in the black pair; they both fit perfectly. Plus I love that they're not completely flat (I do NOT wear flat shoes) but have a heel small enough to make them acceptable to wear any day any place.
Also a La Moda pair, I got these in the 6 and they fit just as perfectly. The ankle strap also makes them really comfy because there's no pressure on the back of the heel. Black is an essential colour in any wardrobe and even though these might not match my pastels, they will match everything else. These were only £22 so even more of a bargain! And with the 10% and free delivery, it made my order even better value. Verdict: La Moda is amazing and I'll definitely be ordering from them again!
I know it's taken me way too long to discover La Moda but it's definitely been waiting for me. Among all the leaflets that get sent with online shopping orders, was this leaflet about style and cliques and one of the categories was 'Jenny from the block'. Okay so it's spelt differently but change the Y for an I and you have the exact name of my blog. Coincidence? I like to believe there's no such thing.
Ever faithful to Missguided, my one true love, I also ordered these gorgeous pair of shoes that are halfway between boots and shoes. I'm getting sick of wearing heeled boots all the time because they feel so wintery, but heeled shoes normally look too dressy. I found the perfect inbetween in this pair of cut away boots that were £34.99. Black again (because it goes with everything), they have the perfect height heel and will go with jeans or trousers or skirts or shorts. They're so versatile and the pointed toe adds some feminine edginess. I got a size 6 in these too and they fit perfectly. It's really not helpful when different sizes fit me differently in different shops; it makes my love of online shopping very challenging. Especially since I'm very much anti-returning-things.
