Feeling fruity

I was very excited for this weeks online shopping delivery. As I'm sure lots of other people have, I've seen this pineapple print two-piece all over instagram and yet no one seemed to know where it was from. I FINALLY found it on Bershka and was over the moon when I saw that it was only £15.99 for the top and £19.99 for the shorts because I was expecting it to be really expensive (don't ask why). It arrived in this really cute pizza-style box and I couldn't wait to blog about it the second I opened it. I was a bit nervous about sizing because they're sold in S-M-L, and every shop seems to interpret that differently. Like I always assume I'm a medium but in H&M I'm an XS. I went with medium anyway, working on the basis that S was 6-8, M was 10-12 and L was 14-16, and as I'm a size 10 I thought it'd fit fine. When I tried it on it actually fit perfectly! I thought the shorts might be a bit loose but the runner style waistband meant they fit really nicely and the cami fitted perfectly too. I don't normally like runner shorts (I was ranting to my friend about them only the other day), but when you're wearing these you can't even tell. To say I don't even think Bershka is an English-based company either, I was really impressed with how quickly my order was delivered.

I can't describe how in love with the print of this co-ord I am. Pineapple's are one of my favourite fruits anyway, but the pastel colours and black crochet trim around the shorts and on the straps really make it amazing. The photos a bit blurry but the detailing on the back is gorgeous too and the black trim makes it easier to match shoes etc. with it. I matched it with my trusty new look six-inchers, which were around £35. I have noticed that I always feature the same shoes, but not to worry; I've just ordered 3 new pairs of shoes this week so you can expect a shoe-mania blogpost to be coming soon. I also added this rose-gold watch which I actually thought I'd lost ages ago, but found it again when I converted my cupboard to another wardrobe the other day (I also found an old light-up disco ball but the less said about that the better). I love rose-gold, I just think it's got more too it than white gold or yellow gold. Obviously this isn't real gold because it was really cheap. It's an Identity London watch that I got from Argos ages ago for about £10/£15 but it looks really chic so you can't tell. I have got my eye on an expensive watch though; a Michael Kors that I'm getting for my birthday. Surprise surprise, I've chosen rose gold in that too. I also want an Olivia Burton watch but that can go on my ever-increasing wishlist. Apart from the watch I kept the accessories to a minimum because I didn't think the outfit needed them.

I did however, add nail polish. I chose this Maybelline Color show in 214 Green with envy because it matched the green bits of the pineapple leaves perfectly. I love this shade aswell because it's the exact colour of a Tiffany box, demonstrated with my tiffany-inspired phone case. I got it from a woman named Amanda on Twitter who makes them all herself, so all the designs are unique and really girly (just like me). They're also custom-made so you can request any design and she also makes compact mirrors, photo frames, shoes and even wine glasses. Just search @BijouledGlamour on twitter, to order all you need is a PayPal account. However, if anyone would like to send me a gift from Tiffany so I can prove that it really is the same colour, then that would be okay I suppose.

To add to my new fruit-printed wardrobe, I've also got my eye on this gorgeous watermelon-print bikini. I think the high-waisted 40s style is going to be the star of the summer and the black panelling on the sides of this one means it'll be extra slimming. It's from New look (top £14.99, bottoms £11.99) but it's one of those annoying situations where the website will let you 'preview' it but not actually buy it. But when it finally comes in stock, I'll be hitting 'add to bag' quicker than you can say 'watermelon print bikini'.
